Swipe!👉👉👉 So I'm only done with making hinges, lol. I was going to install them tonight too, but I just ran out of time. Anyways, as I said many times before, I'm not comfortable with metalworking. It's something I don't really like and understand but I need everytime I make some advanced piece of furniture. So I always tell to myself that I like it 😂 Oh yes, Victoria, you like it, that's why you have this Sherline lathe, lol, that's why you want to buy a Sherline mill but never have enough money for that! 😂😂😂 So two days ago I tried to make these hinges, they were too thin and fragile, and I didn't have a 0.45 mm drill bit. So I changed my plan this time. Thicker brass sheet, bigger diameter for the brass rod – 0.8mm one. I used my coordinate table that comes with the mill to cut out the outline of the hinges, then I cut them with my jeweller's saw and shaped them with files. Drilled the holes, the rest is obvious. They both look okay now, I'll see how they will work when I install them tomorrow. Wish me luck!<\/a><\/p>\n
