Painter’s chest

Definitely not the most glamorous piece of furniture, but I love it!

I saw it about a month ago on one of the auction sites and decided that it would be the next project for me. I liked that it had good amount of drawers and a bench that also served as a chest top to cover all the little boxes and bottles. I haven’t made these bottles yet, but I will!

And I loved finishing touches, paint stains here and there, small scratches… The rest is pretty standard – shellac and wax.

I’m afraid I made one mistake while making this chest but decided not to fix it, it looks more real for me this way.
