I almost finished the new item, I only need to make doors with marquetry, but this is the good part 🙂 This stand is very similar to the wardrobe I started making last year but didn’t finish. And the designer of this item is the same as with art nouveau sofa I made quite some time ago.
I’m using pearwood again, not steamed one but “smoked”. It has very nice color. And I won’t be staining it, just shellac I guess.
And another find – Incra ruler! Love it already!
And recently I had to cancel my trip to London in May for Kensington Dollshouse Festival 🙁 I asked to rearrange my contract for November Festival instead. On the bright side, I’ll have more items by the time.
