New Dollhouse Dolls arrived.
These are not made for the commissioned roombox, they are already in their place. Though the dolls are also made by my Mom.
Art nouveau Bed
Art nouveau bed is finished. I really like the result. It looks quite old, just what I wanted to achieve with staining pearwood.
Bed – WIP
I started making a bed, you can see some carving in progress on the photo above. And I think I’ll make a chair for the dresser I made earlier, both would look great together. But it will be after the bed and couple of bedside tables. I’m using pearwood again, it’s very light in color as you can see, so it’ll need some staining too.
And my new addition – this Proxxon sander, they have a bigger model but I decided on this smaller one. Suits my needs perfectly.
I’d make some jigs for it, but don’t have time for it at all, to be honest. Well, back to work! Have a nice day!
Art Nouveau Dresser
Finished this wonderful dresser yesterday. The original design is by some of the German architectors circa 1900. I’m planning to make a bed, couple of bedside tables and a chair.
Chaise Longue upholstery
Finished uphosltering chaise longue.
Chairs
I always wanted to try different art nouveau styles, if I may say so. This time – Vienna Secession, Koloman Moser. At first, I spotted his beautiful wardrobe, but then I saw these chairs and immediately started making drawings.
I really liked this dove marquetry piece – its size in 1/12 is 13 mm on 13 mm. Part of the wings are made with mother of pearl, two types actually.
New books.
I got some new books from Ebay last weekend. These are treasures indeed.
Shopping List
For my new project I bought some pearwood. I also decided to buy iroko wood, just to try how it feels.

Chair Upholstery.
I finished upholstering the second chair, this time I used silk taffeta.
I had to make the back of the seat twice, the veneer split, but the result is great.
